Jordi Busqué is an award winning photographer based in South America, Barcelona and the USA.

His photographs and texts have appeared in some of the most prestigious publications such as the National Geographic Magazine, The New York Times, Time, Geo, Stern, The Guardian, Days Japan and El País Semanal.

His project on the Mennonites of Bolvia was awarded in 2014 with the Getty Grant for Editorial Photography. The same work has been projected in the festival Visa pour l'Image, in Perpignan.

Jordi divides his work between photojournalism, science and travel photography. He has traveled extensively around the world and he specializes in remote areas of South America in which he has worked as fixer and guide for a few TV production companies.

Jordi is available for assignment anywhere in the world. He speaks English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Catalan.

Prior to his career in photography, Jordi worked as astrophysicist in the University of Barcelona and the Institute of Astrophysics of Paris. He is Photo Ambassador of the European Southern Observatory
